Boise Fire Needs Our Help:
We Need Your Assistance: Grassfire in Columbia Village

We had a human caused grassfire in Columbia Village right before 4:30 this afternoon. If you live in this area, please speak to your kids and see if they have seen or have heard anything. Several kids 10 – 14 years of age were seen running from the fire near E. Anemone Ct., E. Anemone Ln. and S. Kalmia Pl. If you have any information about the fire, please email jmcadams@cityofboise.org . The cause of the fire is still under investigation and we would just like to have a talk with the kids that may have started the fire.
This is also a good reminder that we are just getting into the peak of wildfire season. Illegal aerial fireworks and other careless acts do cause wildfires and burn down homes. Please be safe this coming 4th of July week.
